Building on the success of SOFT Innovation Prize in 2014, 2016 and 2018, the European Commission launches the fourth edition of the SOFT Innovation Prize under Euratom Work Programme 2019-20. Prize contest is open to the world and invites international fusion researchers from all ITER partner countries and any third country, which has a bilateral fusion cooperation with Euratom. It sets no specific category, but is rather interested in any physics or technology innovation related to fusion with a potential for further exploitation.
