As of 1 January 2021, Companies from the United Kingdom are excluded from participation in procurement procedures published by Fusion for Energy.

The UK and the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) have foreseen the signature of a Nuclear Cooperation Agreement (NCA) which will allow, inter alia, UK companies to sign new contracts with F4E and new British staff to be eligible for employment. Until the moment when such agreement is signed, UK Companies cannot participate in F4E’s public procurement activities.
