In the frame of the EU ITER blanket/first wall panel (FWP) manufacturing development, the contract concerns the supply of CuCrZr plates for full-scale prototype (FSP) manufacturing. The CuCrZr serves as a heat sink material in the FWP, but also has a structural function and therefore has to withstand cyclic thermal stresses originating from the neutron heating.
