This contract concerns the supply of a microwave source to be procured and installed in the EU EC Component Test Facility (ECT-FALCON). The microwave generator (Gyrotron), its ancillaries and a matching optics unit (MOU) with HE11 wave guide output together constitute a high power microwave source. The source is required to deliver a reliable high power, long pulse output (170 GHz, 1 MW) relevant to the ITER operating conditions.
