The objective is to provide F4E participants with an analysis and the presentation of the safety aspect and regulatory requirements related to fusion reactors in France. The programme shall provide the participants with an overview on nuclear safety principles, regulatory requirements and the licensing process applied in France for nuclear installations in the different phases of their lifetime, including the design and construction phases.
