The scope of this contract covers the whole manufacturing cycle of the PF coils PF2, PF3, PF4, PF5, including the material purchasing (excluding the free issue items from F4E), some standard equipment, the coil manufacturing, the in-process controls up to final acceptance tests and cold testing. PF6 coil will be shipped from another contractor and shall only be cold tested by the manufacturing contractor. The contract scope also includes the manufacturing and testing of fabrication qualification models and the manufacturing and testing of dummy double pancakes of PF5 and PF4 coil.
