The subject of the contract is the provision of works as set out in the technical specification and in conformity with the terms provided in this document, the general tender conditions and the management specification.

The scope of the present call for tender may be summarised as follows (details to be found in the technical specification):

1. execution design of the special concrete crown structure (CCS) and steel transition pieces (STPs), including verification of the impact on the ASBs, testing and qualifications, interfaces (in particular with the cryostat spherical bearings (CSBs)), and mock-up. NB: the execution design calculation of the optimised STP is performed by F4E;

2. manufacturing of the STP embedded frames, construction of the special CCS (including the placement of the STP embedded frames).
