The scope of the contract is two magnetic shieldings for the heating neutral beam 1 and 2. Each magnetic shielding is composed by passive magnetic shield (PMS- 600 tons carbon steel structure) and active correction and compensation coil (ACCC-8 magnets). It surrounds the neutral beam vessel and the high voltage bushing. The function is to shield the beam from the magnetic stray field of the ITER Tokamak, and it is not a vacuum barrier.
